Rental Car Agreement

1. Rental Fees, Deposits & Florida Surcharge

The Renter agrees to pay the specified weekly rate in full. Per Florida Statute §212.0606, a rental car surcharge is applied to the lease of this vehicle. A security deposit and the first week’s rent are mandatory at the time of vehicle transition. Payments must be strictly maintained on a weekly basis via Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App, or Card.

2. Authorized Use & Geographic Limitations

Reference: Florida Statute §812.155

Operation is strictly limited to a 60-mile radius of the designated Miami operations center. Interstate travel is prohibited without prior written consent. Use of the vehicle for racing, off-roading, or any illegal activity will result in immediate repossession.

3. Mileage Policy & Overage Charges

1. GIG ECONOMY DRIVERS: Renters utilizing the vehicle for verified GIG platforms (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.) are granted UNLIMITED MILEAGE within the authorized 60-mile Miami radius.

2. NON-GIG DRIVERS: A limit of 500 MILES per weekly rental period applies.

3. OVERAGE RATE: In accordance with Florida business standards, any mileage exceeding the 500-mile limit for non-GIG rentals will be billed at the 2026 Florida rate of $0.725 per mile.

4. Maintenance, Safety & Smoking Policy

The Renter is legally obligated to monitor vehicle health and report any mechanical irregularities or warning lights immediately. Damage resulting from continued operation after a fault is detected will be the Renter’s financial responsibility. This is a strictly Non-Smoking vehicle.

5. Florida Insurance Requirements

Reference: Florida Statute §627.748

If utilized for GIG platforms, the Renter must ensure active coverage under the platform’s commercial insurance policy. The Renter is responsible for maintaining personal injury protection (PIP) and property damage liability (PDL) as required by Florida law.

6. Incident Reporting & Liquidated Damages

In the event of collision or theft, a police report must be filed immediately. The Renter is liable for a $1,000.00 deductible per incident. Key fob loss replacement fee is $200.00. The vehicle must be returned with the original fuel level.

7. Indemnification & Liability Waiver

Pursuant to Florida law, the Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Jackson Mobility Group LLC harmless from any claims, injuries, or legal actions arising from the Renter’s possession of the vehicle.

8. Governing Law & Entirety

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and constitutes the entire agreement between Jackson Mobility Group LLC and the Renter.

    GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Vehicle must remain within a 60-mile radius of the Miami operation center. No interstate travel is permitted without written consent.

    MAINTENANCE: Owner handles routine maintenance. Renter must report issues immediately. Negligence-based repairs are the Renter's responsibility.

    FLORIDA STATUTE §812.155: Failure to return the vehicle or maintain weekly payments is a criminal offense under Florida law.

    DEDUCTIBLE: Renter acknowledges a $1,000 deductible is due for any accidents/damages within 14 days of the incident.
